Here is another pair from our collection of comic pinbacks given away with cigarettes 100 years ago. Cartoonists of the time each drew dozens of comic images based upon their characters and catch-phrases. Both of these pins were drawn by Rube Goldberg, whose riffs on “I’m the guy...” were a running joke with readers of his cartoons. Both pins were originally packaged for Hassan Cigarettes.
